Mariposa Award
The purpose of the Mariposa Award is for individual students to recognize a professor who has significantly impacted him or her during his or her academic career at NMSU. This award is dedicated to those professors who, through their wisdom and patience, have given us the strength to fly.
To nominate a professor for the Mariposa award, you must be a government graduate student who is enrolled at least part-time in government classes. Calls for nominations are requested every Spring.
